About us
Danceworks Unlimited offer a variety of dance classes in Derby, including weekly tuition for children in Ballet, Tap, Disco Freestyle, Acro and Cheerleading. A monthly SEN dance class for children and teens with special educational needs. Weekly adult dance/fitness classes are offered in Tap, Ballet, Disco Freestyle, Line Dancing, Stretch & Strength and Just Breathe. We run beginner courses and workshops throughout the year for all dance styles and these provide the ideal opportunity to learn the basics and beyond.
about the principal
My name is Clare Beheshti and I'm the principal of Danceworks Unlimited, a theatre dance school in Derby which has been offering dance tuition in Derby since 1996. We have a regular, varied timetable of different classes to choose from for both children and adults.

My love of dance began at the age of ten when I joined a local dance school. Today I am an Associate Member of the International Dance Teachers Association, have an RSA in exercise to music, hold an enhanced disclosure DBS, First Aid Certificate and Child Protection Certificate.
SHOWTIMES, SHOWCASES AND EXAMS
Here at Danceworks Unlimited we offer performance opportunities and the opportunities to take examinations. Our showtimes are our big shows that we have been doing since the very beginning. Full with exuberance, our showtimes are a fantastic experience for both children, teens and adults. Performing on stage in-front of an audience and taking that final bow is an experience we believe people of all ages should experience. Our shows take place every 2 years.

Our showcases are smaller showtimes that we do in between our showtimes. Our last showcase was all themed on The Greatest Showman. It is a fun and thrilling opportunity that everyone look forwards to. We put blood, sweat and tears into all our performances, and our showcase are no different, with the first half being a quick dancing sensation and our second being an awards ceremony, recognising the family we have built here at DWU.

When we are not doing shows we are taking part in IDTA examinations. Everyone enjoys climbing the ranks and this in no different. We prepare you and teach you everything you need to know for the exam and of course smash it in the end! We then provide medals, trophies and more, all from the IDTA, that is a token of your success.
PRIVATE DANCE TUITION
In addition to our regular scheduled dance classes in Derby, Danceworks Unlimited also offer private dance tuition. Private tuition is the perfect answer for anyone who would love to learn to dance but lacks the confidence to join a group lesson. It's also a great alternative solution if you find that our scheduled timetable doesn't fit around everything else going on in your life. One-to-one dance lessons also enable you to learn at your own pace at a time that suits you.

Our dance studio is our own. Edmund Hall, built in 2003 by ourselves is the home of Danceworks Unlimited.
Our fully accessible ground floor space is perfectly located close to the A52, just 10mins from J25 of the M1.​
